End-of-life doula services in Vancouver for individuals and families navigating aging, illness, caregiving, and death. Compassionate and holistic support, guidance with future planning, and steady presence through difficult times.

Welcome to A Good Farewell – I’m glad you found this space. My name is Sarah and I’m an End-of-Life Doula and Educator serving individuals, families, and communities primarily across Vancouver, North Vancouver, and Burnaby, BC.

I believe everyone has a right to die with peace of mind, agency, and dignity. While we can’t always control how or when we’ll die, we can be intentional about our approach. Through one-to-one support, workshops, and open conversations about aging, illness, caregiving, and grief, I help people feel more grounded, more in control, and less alone in difficult times.

I encourage people to have honest, unguarded conversations about death–because when we talk about what matters, we can start to clarify our wishes, think through future health and care decisions, and create steadiness in times that might feel overwhelming or uncertain.

I offer holistic, pragmatic, tender support and care that honours your values and respects your journey. While death can be difficult and sad, I hold a vision of softening its edges–making it gentler, and easier.

“You matter because you are you, and you matter to the end of your life. We will do all we can, not only to help you die peacefully, but also to live until you die.”

— Dame Cicely Saunders, founder of the modern hospice movement
