Advance Care Planning Workshops –
Conversations About What Matters Most
My goal is to make Advance Care Planning feel less intimidating, more accessible, and deeply human-centred. At its heart, ACP is simply the process of reflecting on your values and what is most important to you regarding your future health and care, sharing this with the people closest to you, and documenting it.
I can tailor workshops to fit the needs of small, intimate groups or larger organizations. See the section below for some options. Workshops can be conducted in person within Metro Vancouver or online. If you don’t see something that fits your needs, reach out and let’s talk.

Navigating a Life-Changing Illness
As a Waiting Room Revolution Ambassador, I facilitate community workshops on how to chart a path through a life-altering illness in order to improve patient and family experiences. The materials are based on the book “Hope for the Best, Plan for the Rest: 7 Keys for Navigating a Life-Changing Diagnosis”, written by palliative care doctors and reseachers: Dr. Sammy Winemaker and Dr. Hsien Seow.
Partipants are given a greater sense of hope, empowerment, and confidence. Workshop formats are designed to suit your organization’s needs: four-hour topic-based workshops, 90 minute overviews, or even a book club style discussion group. If you would like to learn more, send me a message!
For Private Groups:
2 hours – $425 + GST
For intimate groups of up to 5 participants. A supportive space to explore values and wishes, key documents, and start conversations about end-of-life planning in a close-knit, interactive setting. Beverages and snacks are welcome :) Get some friends together and let’s dive in.

Two-hour workshops to cover the basics of Advance Care Planning. Can be a standalone offering, or part of a wider approach to employee wellbeing. May be done over two separate lunch hours or all at once.
For Non-Profits:
Once a month I offer free, interactive Advance Care Planning presentations at any registered charity or non-profit. This is open to all staff, members, and volunteers. Don’t hesitate to reach out if your organization is interested.
